Our Puppy Policy

• Brimfeldt Australian Shepherds are only a small kennel and we will only breed one or two litters per year.

• We believe in quality not quantity, and to the best of our knowledge will select breeding partners for our dogs that will produce puppies that have exceptional temperaments, are versatile, and conform to the ANKC Standard.

• Our puppies are born and raised at home, so they will become accustomed to the busy day-to-day lifestyle of our family life.

• We carefully screen our buyers to assure our puppies are properly matched to the lifestyle and personality of their new home. The happiness and well-being of our puppies is our number one concern!

• All of our puppies are
• wormed regularly.
• eye tested at 6 weeks of age for hereditary eye defects.
• receive their first vaccination at 6 weeks of age.
• Microchipped at 6 weeks of age.

• All of our puppies go to their new homes with a puppy pack, which includes:
• A contract of sale
• ANKC registration certificate
• Copy of parents hip & elbow score certificate and the lastest eye test results
• Details of Microchip number

• We CHOOSE to sell most of our puppies as loving companions or performance prospects to individual or family homes; however, we do occasionally sell show prospects to show homes.

• Our contracts guarantee against inherited genetic defects which make the puppy unsuitable for the intent for which it was purchased.

• All companion puppies are sold on spay/neuter contracts, and they will be registered on the ANKC Limit Register.

• We offer a $200 rebate upon receipt of proof your puppy has been spayed or neutered!

• Brimfeldt Aussies will take ANY dog we have bred or owned back, at ANY time, ANY age, and for ANY reason; however, a refund will NOT always be issued.
